I am excited to serve as the founding principal of Imagine School at Mountain View. Although opening a school is an incredible undertaking, I am prepared for the challenge. I was introduced to teaching through Teach For America (TFA) while attending the University of Southern California as an undergraduate student. After earning a BS in Business from USC, I joined TFA as a Los Angeles corps member. I began teaching in middle school as a math teacher in Los Angeles Unified School District. I eventually became the Executive Director of a non-profit organization in Inglewood, California specializing in preschool education. I transitioned to Las Vegas in 2008 to teach Kindergarten at a local charter school. I enjoyed my teaching experience in Las Vegas so much that I made Nevada my home. Along with my 19 years of teaching practice, I also have a Masters of Art in Teaching from USC and a wealth of experience in charter school leadership. I am proud to work with the Board of Directors and Imagine Schools to create an academically rich learning environment that meets the needs of every student enrolled in our school.
